Benjamin Shaykin designs books and other typographic things in Berkeley, California.
He is Associate Director of Graphic Design at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco (de Young and Legion of Honor), and teaches at California College of the Arts in the MFA Design and BFA Graphic Design programs.
Previously, he taught at Rhode Island School of Design and worked out of The Design Office in Providence, Rhode Island. Prior to that, he designed and art directed at Chronicle Books and Mother Jones, and co-founded Bitch: Feminist Response to Pop Culture.
